About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Become a Couch Surfing Ambassador! It's like having Magellan as a role model.

ABOUT ME

April 23, 2008
I'm pretty a cultured and worldly person for a business major from Omaha. I like improving my mind by reading equally as much as I enjoy destroying it by getting blackout drunk. I feel like the only student in my class who read anything outside of the Wall Street Journal and would end up naked on the floor the same night. Low and behold, marketing is not something I want to do. So basically, I've already quit the job I haven't got yet.

Aug 25, 2008
I just got back from a 3 month trip in Central America where I met the girl of my dreams. And have started a new career track in International Relations.

I am currently planning a shoestring motorcycle expedition from the U.S. to Tierra Del Fuego and need all the help I can get from this community.

P.S. You can win me over with a bag of Skittles

PHILOSOPHY

Rather than love, than money, than fame, give me truth.
-- Henry David Thoreau (1817-1862)

Its important to realize that there is no greater fallacy than believing a thing as absolute truth, as to know everything. And there is no disease worse than ignorance. Traveling has cured me of both of these.

Music, Movies, and Books

Right now I've really been into Into the Wild and Motorcycle Diaries for obvious reasons. Gladiator has to be my alltime favorite movie.

Music: Classic rock and blues. The legend himself Bob Dylan. But seriously, I like anything.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Great Barrier Reef was pretty amazing. Living out in the wild in Alaska was better. Being almost torn to shreds by a bear was not. Nicaragua is really cool.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Austria, Canada, Costa Rica, Germany, Ireland, Lithuania, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Costa Rica, United States
