About Me
Hello, world travelers!
I'm DJ, a curious and friendly soul based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. I have a passion for exploring new cultures, trying local foods, and meeting people who bring different perspectives into my life. I believe in living life with an open heart and mind, and I see every new connection as an opportunity to learn something meaningful.
I’m a professional in tourism and hospitality, but outside of work, you’ll find me exploring local markets, listening to live music, hiking scenic trails, or just enjoying the simple things that make life interesting. Every interaction, from a quick hello to a long chat over coffee, adds something special to my journey, and I’m always up for new experiences and friendships!
Although I may not always be available to host, when I can, I’d love to welcome you to my home and help make your time in Malaysia memorable. Let’s connect, share experiences, and create some incredible memories together. Looking forward to meeting new friends from all around the globe!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My playlists are a mix of everything—some classic rock, jazz, a bit of K-pop, and indie music. I’m always on the lookout for new tunes and would love to hear your recommendations!
Movies: I love films that make you think, like Inception, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Parasite. I'm also a big fan of travel documentaries and anything that tells a unique story.
Books: My bookshelf is packed with everything from travel memoirs to philosophical reads. Favorites include The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho, Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari, and Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most unforgettable experiences I've had was opening an Airbnb in Melaka before the pandemic, along with my time as a tour manager at a travel agency in KL. These experiences taught me a great deal about myself and deepened my appreciation for the beauty and diversity of the world.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I’d be delighted to share some common Malaysian phrases, introduce you to our local cuisine, and provide recommendations for the best food spots and more.
Learn: I’m always eager to expand my knowledge, whether it’s through learning a new language, or skill, or gaining a fresh perspective. I’d love to hear about your culture, your travel experiences, or any passions you have!
Share: I can share travel stories, offer insider tips for exploring Kuala Lumpur, and reveal some of my favorite hidden gems in the city that you won’t find in guidebooks.
