Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
If I stay with you, and you show me around and possibly have some meals with me, I can do the same thing for you if you come to Hawaii, at this point you would have your own room, and not just a couch… And Hawaii is not the cheapest place in the world! LOL
I’ve often been told by my friends that I’m an excellent tour guide, enjoy trying new foods, I like to have drinks, enjoy the beach, and hiking, and I am considered a funny person by many of my friends and colleagues.
I do live in my fathers house, but to be clear, my father has his own room and you would have your own room, my father is very friendly, but deaf and hard of hearing. My father tends to use the toilet a lot, so I always tell my friends and guests to just use the toilet as quickly as possible, as we only have one toilet, on my side of the house. My brother lives on the other side of the house in a separate unit, I have one cat and a few birds… Sometimes the dog is with my father sometimes the dog is with my brother on his side of the house…
Kaneohe is a 25 minute drive to Honolulu or 1-1.5 hours on the bus. The walk to the bus stop is approximately 20 minutes. My hometown tends to be rather quiet, and Hawaii in general tends to be a quiet place.
So as I stated, you can save a lot of money by staying with me, and if you choose to rent a car that’s up to you, as you will have a lot more freedom. I tend to work at night time so I like it quiet during the day when I’m sleeping or when I take my several naps during the day prior to work. However I’m usually able to squeeze in a couple hours of tour guiding with people, or at least maybe drop you off at the bus stop. The bus system is pretty good, but it is not the quickest mode of transport, so renting a car may be an option for you. Please note that everything tends to be slower in Hawaii: the pace of life, service, transport, etc. hey man! You’re in Hawaii, so relax!
If you don’t mind catching the bus and the few times or rides or tours that I can take you on, and then everything should be great. Just help pay for gas, and if you buy me a meal and drinks here and there we’re good to go!
