About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Re-discover, re-imagine, re-invent!
ABOUT ME
Currently, I work full time at a local museum exploring, experimenting and sharing the different ways we can use art and creativity to build a stronger community. That's easy in Santa Cruz because the people who live here are AWESOME and I've met and lived with many amazing people.
On my off days, I try to do active things like biking, walking on the beach (which is 15 minutes away walking), trying to be more creative in my daily life. I also *love* to take on new hobbies. Right now, I'm dabbling in archery and hula hooping tricks.
Most people see me as a bit nerdy, since I love talking Star Trek, Dr Who, video games, etc.
What ignites me is meeting people who are different from me, different tastes, hobbies, cultures, etc. I want to absorb and experience everything the world has to offer!
PHILOSOPHY
My personal philosophy is something that is ever evolving and ever changing. The minute I write down what I think it is, it'll transform.
But I can tell you that I've recently been exploring local social change. I'm getting involved in local organizations around different issues like re-entry out of prison, homelessness, youth. I'm trying to understand social change, who it affects and who are the people involved.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
You can find me most of the time at work, so my opportunities to venture out are limited, but I have plenty of couches and a bunk bed in my room for those who need a place to crash.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My housemates are avid Couch Surfers, who often host folks at our home. I've had nothing but great interactions with other Couch-travelers.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I take great pleasure in the joys of everyday. When you see a sticker on a lamppost of a band you know. When you see sidewalk chalk drawings on a busy downtown street. When you see an animal shaped cloud. When someone says something that makes you go *MINDBLOWN*
Teach, Learn, Share
Right now I'm learning how to do archery and hula hooping. I like crocheting from time to time and I can make some pretty cool lookin' bow ties on a sewing machine.
