About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Food independence! (relatively speaking)
PHILOSOPHY
Most people in the world are good, and certainly everywhere you go there are good people. I live to meet good people of different backgrounds.
Interests
cycling, bread baking, my dog, environmental science... traveling! spanish...
Making and finding all sorts of food, I'm passionate about trying to make my own stuff (recent creations: canned 100 quarts of applesauce, made a few kinds of cheese, bread all the time, yogurt, kimchi)... and I try to get most of it from dumpsters/gleaning, cause waste sucks.

Music, Movies, and Books
A Farewell to Arms, One Hundred Years of Solitude, Love in the Time of Cholera, A Soldier of the Great War, The Omnivore's Dilemma. To name a few that happen to be sitting next to me and I liked. I dig old time... I've gotten my hands a fiddle, if anyone wants to teach me to play it.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I guess the living off my bike for a year and a half and riding 12,500 miles was pretty interesting. That is pretty vague though. I saw a lot of amazing things on that trip. Come meet me and ask me about them, then you might hear something less vague. More to the point though, tell me something amazing you've seen or done.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach: bike mechanics, baking, cooking (vegetarian), carpentry, Spanish
