Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We are interested in hosting people from around the world to learn more about their culture and to share ours.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have hosted more nearly 2 dozen couchsurfers and have surfed ourselves about 10 times. We really enjoy making new friends and learning about other countries.
We are a pretty kicked back family used to camping. So when we are surfing we don't always need a bed and we certainly are not expecting to be fed nor entertained but we of course would not turn an invitation to dine together or to see things together. We will accept whatever hospitality offered to us.
Interests
I like to cycle, play golf, watch movies, hike, snowboard, scuba diving, site seeing and boating. I like traveling and experience other cultures. We have hosted 6 exchange students from Brazil, Italy, France and Japan as well as more than a dozen couchsurfers.
