About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Traveling Pocahontas needs a place to park her canoe...
ABOUT ME
I'm 32, in case you missed it, and from the US. I decided to dedicate this year to traveling. I figured why not, I love meeting new people from anywhere and everywhere. I am Native American Indian or as our people know us as the Assiniboines. I love music and a foodie, I believe that no matter where you go...you should have good: food, wine and conversation. I love exploring new places and doing the less than typical touristy bits. I am more into how people live and what life is like, no matter where I am at.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to look at the good from the bad...to see the humor out of life. I don't like to take life seriously...unless it's a serious issue to be taken. I like to expect the worst and hope for the best, in my sense...if I have high hopes and it doesn't work out...I won't be so devastated. I believe there is beauty in the smallest gestures that people do for you that is always passed up and the human touch is the best medicine anyone can have.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have tried going to CS meetings in Chicago but because of my schedule, I haven't had time. I worked for a medical clinic. Although, I have run into other CS'ers in the random-est places...like the fitting room in UrbanOutfitters.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I met a very cool man that I had no idea was a host for CS in Paris, when I moved there. It was great we are still great friends and he has really showed me around Paris, when I was contemplating moving there.
Interests
I am interested in music, cooking or trying out new culinary cuisines. exploring and getting lost in interesting cities and making new friends, if it's for a day or a life long friend.

Music, Movies, and Books
I love reading Sherman Alexie, Ian Mc Ewan and memoirs of people with crazy lives.
I love independent movies and music...something that isn't really "BLOCKBUSTER" or "TOP 40"
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
To me, what I did that was amazing and maybe to some it's not curing aids or helping with the sick or needy. For me, it was mentoring my people, the younger generation, and showing their potential in the world. To not be afraid to step away from the reservation bubble life. To show them that we are not forgotten people.
