ABOUT ME

We are a couple of 64 year olds that have been married for 43 years. We have five grown kids and seventeen grandchildren. We love to meet people and experience life on our shrinking planet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We spent several nights couch surfing in Europe with and under the tutelage of our couch surfing friends. We had a great time meeting such interesting people. We felt we should be hosts and be able to surf on our own.

Interests

We enjoy gardening, researching family history, oil painting, bonsai, book collecting, playing with grandchildren. We volunteer with the Red Cross, local library, garden club. We serve in our church and teach classes the latest is on writing you personal history.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Family: births, teenagers, and seeing all our children well employed gives immense satisfaction.
Travel: Machu Picchu, Nile River, Croatia, Mexico, Canada, Netherlands land of Kristi's birth.
Awestruck by a sunset over Thailand while flying an F4. Brought to tears by seeing Michelangelo's "David".
Transported to other places by Julio Iglesias, Beach Boys, and the Rolling Stones.
