PHILOSOPHY

A life without cause is a life without effect. Make your life take on meaning by devoting it to something you really believe and want to uphold everyday. For me, that's developing a broad sense of justice, encouraging others to challenge their lives to the utmost, and living IN the moment and not FOR the moment.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I try to do a little bit of it all. As people I've encountered through the community know, I think participating in CS in any way is a great expression of trust in humanity. I cheer on anyone who takes personal responsibility for the advancement of the human condition. CS is a great forum for this type of dialogue to flourish!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Most absolutely joyful! All kinds of challenges come with engaging in people (especially with people you don't know very well yet). But meeting and making friends with people otherwise you'd never encounter is most thrilling and value creating for all involved. That has fully been my experience and through it, I've developed wonderful, growing friendships with people I've met. I wish them all the best in their endeavors!

Buddhism, philosophy, pole vaulting, martial arts, teaching, refugees, running, climbing, biking, swimming. Man of many interests. Chances are if you're all about dialogue then I will love you. Whenever one has an open minded, heart to heart dialogue with another individual, it fuels our hope that connecting with other people will create a path of creating value in the world.

I've climbed Mt. Fuji before. I've pole vaulted 14'. I graduated college. I've driven 13,000 miles in 2 months in my Mazda.

I live by the lifestyle of the Swiss Army Knife. Not just that I have one all the time but that I want to embrace life with a versatility unmatched. Willing to engage in any endeavor that will be beneficial to those around me. Never backing down to fear. For that reason, I strive to improve myself in anything and everything!
