ABOUT ME

I enjoy the great outdoors by downhill skiing, hiking, fishing and paddling- or whatever else comes to mind at the time. I play guitar and bass, but am not particularly good at either (I'm working on that).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just got here, so I guess I'll be figuring that out. So far, I'll be sleeping on your couches and rewarding you with kind reviews, unless I hate your couch or you draw on my face when I'm sleeping. If I had a couch I'd let you sleep on it probably.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I slept on my parents' couches for a solid stretch after college.

兴趣

Discovering new music, trying to make my own, and staring at bonfires. I also enjoy water, both drinking it and being in it. Boats are fun too.

Favorite movies: Miller's Crossing; Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels

Music: Bluegrass, folk, acoustic, rock, jazz (as long as it's not 'smooth'), and some jam band stuff.

Books: Darma Bums, On the Road, C.S. Lewis's stuff, Blue Like Jazz, La familia de Pascual Duarte (though I can barely remember what it's about), The Ball & The Cross, Lord of the Rings... I guess.

Bungee jumping... I can't think of anything else right now, so I guess bungee jumping wins by default.
