Overview
About Me
I was born and raised in Murcia, Spain. I studied the first three years of my degree in electronics in Madrid and then I moved to Los Angeles to finish it over there. After that I moved back to Europe, to the UK, more specifically Manchester to do my MSc . Then I started working as a self driving car engineer for a british car company. Last year I had the opportunity to work in Portland, Oregon and it was amazing! At the moment I live in Kenilworth, near Birmingham (UK).
I consider myself a tech enthusiast that enjoys doing DIY projects. I am also a nature and hiking lover. As a stereotypical spaniard I play football and prepare an awesome sangria.
If you are visiting me:
Kenilworth, close to Leamington Spa & Coventry
Highlights of your stay may or may not include:
- Choice of 2 couches, including a comfy-ass red leather corner sofa which is akin to a bed of fluffy feathers, roses, rainbows and other nice stuff. Second couch is good for a short person, or we could pull an airbed out.
- The tastiest mother-lickin' BBQ food to ever enter your mouth
- A bad-ass garden paddling pool with slightly discoloured lukewarm water (on a good day) which is just about deep enough to lie down in should it please you
- Approximately 12 super-rad tropical fish (they live in a tank, not the paddling pool)
- Dodgy karaoke speaker (only works with glam rock)
- Glorious shower, would rate as at least an 8 out of 10
- Dedicated beer-fridge
- All-you-can-eat distinctly average-tasting, moderately undersized apples from tree in the garden
I'm 25 years old, I live with another spaniard and a briton (age 26 and 27) in a house-share in Kenilworth
We all work full-time as automotive engineers, so fairly boring during the week - but can still do a few beers in the evenings. Much more likely to be fun at the weekends with trips to Langar skydive dropzone and nights out in Leamington Spa & London
Between the 3 of us, interests include: beer, skiing, skydiving, Red Bull TV, ice climbing, cars old & new, motorbikes, football, basketball
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel and meet new people. I like to think that I am a kind and tidy person that loves to go around the world. Normally it is just by myself because of my weird travel route choices and destinations and lack of preparation but until now it has worked out well for me.
Previously I used to stay in shared rooms hostels or airbnbs that allowed me to get the best experiences out of my travels but my flatmate told me about couchsurfing and I can not wait to try it.
