About Me

CURRENT MISSION

blow my harp on the west coast

ABOUT ME

I blow my harp and I try to tell a joke now and again sometimes I do these activities in public other times in remote areas but I don't mind

PHILOSOPHY

I'm the most apathetic person I know...I think, I don't know, I don't really care. (its a joke)

good food, good beer, good people - everyone is passionate about something, lets all just share what we're passionate about because you never know what you might be into and we'll gravitate accordingly, now fire something up.

Interests

I seek out vinyl & music both new and old from all parts of the world - currently I'm into international progressive rock, especially from Germany, West Berlin during the 1970's this genre is known as krautrock. The French Zuehl, UK space rock, and Japanese psych scene is also ripping. I play the harmonica so I'm really into south side Chicago blues like Little Walter and country blues like Sonny Terry, bluegrass has also had a huge impact on my playing. I use to be a volunteer DJ at a public radio station, I've hosted all sorts of different shows, jazz, 50-60's garage rockabilly surf doo wop comedy afro beat primitive rock n roll, a show dedicated to frank zappa, I like everything from metal to swing so if your into music we'd probably have much to discuss. I really like stand-up comedy and dabble with it myself, when I enter a new town I find where the comedy clubs are because they have open mics, getting on stage and telling jokes you've wrote is fun. I'm not saying I'm any good, I guess I just like making people laugh. I'm down to hike and climb and bike everywhere, I want to explore as much of this world while I can. I cook from time to time, I've been told it's edible. Other interests, mountain biking, pitbulls, snowboarding, psychology psychoanalysis, history, writing, coffee & cigarettes, farming, natural herbal remedies, camping, traveling, a movie now and again, how to do books, burritos, micro brews and beer in general, growing a beard in the winter time, antiques and other discarded relics, talking, breathing, kickball, woods forest mountains country side, being active and athletic, firing one up, grilling, Mycology, finding comedy in everything

Music, Movies, and Books

LISTEN TO FRANK ZAPPA - LISTEN TO FRANK ZAPPA

I just watched the movie White Lightening, it's amazing and Hasil Adkins does most of the soundtrack. I don't know movies like I know music but I'm open towards suggestions and recommendations.

I've always enjoyed Kurt Vonnegut.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran from the bulls in spain, slept under the rocky mountain stars

Teach, Learn, Share

share all the music I love and maybe a joke or two, teach you how to play harmonica and grillin' 'tators
