I teach English and love it because I spend every day with people from all over the world. Everyone is different and it's interesting and fun and I feel like I'm doing something to help people find their new life in Australia.

Music, Movies, and Books

We both LOVE watching films (Coen Brothers,Wes Anderson but really from all countries, any eras and most genres - but not too much horror) like series (Dexter, Luther, Tudors) and sitcoms (Friends,Scrubs,Seinfeld) and reading (lots of different things). Hard to say with music because it's mother/daughter here and so different likes but we both like Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Bon Iver, Laura Marling, Regina Spektor, Paul Kelly etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We saw Mt Everest together; we didn't climb it, but we saw it when trekking & that was a great mother-daughter experience.
