Overview
About Me
I moved to Poland in August 2015 with my family to begin a new adventure. Having begun teaching English as a foreign/second language in Poland I'm learning lots and gaining experience in teaching to all ages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I shared my first couch surfing experience with a Canadian guy I was travelling with. It was in Melbourne with 2 great hosts, who also took me in a second time when I went back after being in New Zealand. Haven't taken the opportunity to do anymore surfing.
Interests
I enjoy listening to and playing music, travelling, socialising, watching movies and the great outdoors. I'm into sports, mostly cycling and running with the odd adventure race and duathlon.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies:
Donnie Darko, Galdiator, Fight Club, Tigerland, Batman Begins, Pan's Labyrinth, Thor, Scott Pilgrim. Marvel's Superhero movies.
I'm into a wide range of musical styles which has been broadened since last year with my being exposed to types of music, through my course, that I've never either heard or understood.
Books:
I don't read too much, but starting to read more. The kinds of books I tend to like are fiction, non-fiction biographical or historical. Scar Tissue by Anthony Keidis, The Beach by Alex Garland, Mr Nice by Howard Marks are some of my favourites. I've also just completed "Catch Me If You Can" by Frank Abagnale, I liked the movie but the book is great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Did a bungee jump in thailand, that was scary and 5 more in New Zealand (Queenstown), awesome. Also did a skydive in Australia (Mission Beach) and New Zealand (Lake Wanaka), that was just an incredible experience and really want to do it again. So much so in fact that I joined the skydiving club in 2009 at Queens. I went to France in June 2010 and learned to Skydive by myself. Scarey but awesome!
