About Me

I teach World History in Denver to 150 students at Denver Schools of Science and Tech. I love to play music (guitar, banjo, mandolin) and am always ready for a jam. I believe that "wherever you go you'll meet people, and those people will generally be good."

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I believe that countries are best through the eyes of the people. I believe in building friendships across cultures. Its something I teach my students each day and love the ethos that couchsurfing is about and the friendships I've built through this program over the years.

So many!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once canoed 700 miles in the Canadian arctic with four other dudes.

Teach, Learn, Share

I teach World History, but that simply means I always want to know more. I'm always ready to share a crazy story, song, or discuss art/culture/politics about any given country.

Share a bottle of wine, coffee, or story :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

How to play American Folk music, draw cartoons, edit/revise papers/presentations, slam poetry, sing, positive psychology ideas, fun.

Countries I’ve Visited

Bosnia and Herzegovina, Canada, Costa Rica, Croatia, Czech Republic, Guatemala, Hungary, India, Poland
