ABOUT ME

ALL about me?! I don't think I can squeeze myself into this little white box but I'll do my best to provide an intro:

People know me as an outgoing outdoorsy guy. I was raised in the Southwest United States, playing outside in the sun and hiking all over the place with friends and family.

The most amazing experiences I've had are outside the US in Guatemala, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Greece and more.

I'm musical. I can play almost any song you show me on the guitar just by listening to it.

I'm funny and open to new ideas and opportunities.

PHILOSOPHY

As individuals, we each have the power to bring peace and love to the world around us and ourselves. I am striving to be more open in everything I do and with everyone I meet. If we work to fix ourselves, we can lead through our actions and repair the world around us.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At this point, I do not have a place to host Couchsurfers but it's something I would like to do in the future. I am currently traveling and looking for couches to surf on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

A few summers ago, I lived in a house which Couchsurfers frequented. I thought it was the coolest concept! All these random cool people would come by.

Since then, I've heard Couchsurfing mentioned over and over again. Many of my friends have hosted Couchsurfers. After hearing about how awesome it is for the 1000ith time, I signed up! I'm looking forward to getting involved with the Couchsurfing community.

兴趣

I love to bike and hike. I enjoy meeting new people and talking about different perspectives from across the world. I love to read about new ideas and apply them to my life. Partying and having fun is wonderful but deep conversations about global politics can sometimes be just as fun.

However, I will never miss an opportunity to dance my ass off! It may be my favorite activity.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Acko, Israel:
My friends and I walked up to a group of local kids jumping off of the city walls into the Mediterranean Sea. Initially, we just watched them, considering them crazy for jumping off of such a high spot with large rocks below. Quickly, we realized we had a desire to do the same thing. We stripped off our clothes and all jumped in! It was high enough that you have enough time in mid-air to question your sanity... but then you hit the water and you're in the warm ocean. From the bottom, you realize just how high the jumping point is.... but at that point you're in and you want to do it again.

It was a life-changing experience and it brought us close to the local kids, who respected us for doing what they do everyday.

I play guitar! I would love to teach you some songs, play some songs for you or just jam out! I love drumming and singing as well. I am truly interested in anything. If you have a passionate explanation about any topic, I will listen.

I am an urban transportation and planning nerd. If you want to talk about these topics, prepare for an earful. :)
