Sometimes the appropriate response to reality is to go insane.

I'm back in Boston after living in Finland and Denmark between 2015 and 2017. Trying to figure out either 1) how to move back, or 2) how to live in a van full time. I have big dreams apparently.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love traveling, and I enjoy spending time with others who love traveling. My good friend who convinced me to come to Europe last minute introduced me to Couchsurfing. We couchsurfed in Lisbon and Madrid and had a great time. Since then, I've been to the local Boston meetups regularly (where I've met some of my best friends), and have also met up with other Couchsurfers on my travels in Finland and South Korea.

Interests

Cars and traveling mostly. I need to figure out how to make a life out of those.

When I'm not doing that, I like watching good TV shows (currently Veep, Fargo, and The Wire are my favorites) and reading (mostly non-fiction stories told like fiction in the Michael Lewis style, and mostly when flying or basking in the sun).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Everyone says I'm crazy, but I fly across the Atlantic for weekend trips. I've flown over to Europe from Boston for four different long weekends, and flew from Finland to the US for a weekend twice. The first time was to Amsterdam, the second time was to Dublin, the third was to Gothenburg, the fourth time was to New York City, the fifth time was Seattle, and the sixth time was Monaco. It's a lot of fun to leave work/school on a Thursday, fly to Europe, party for three days, fly back on Monday and go to work Tuesday.

Of course, since I lived in Finland, I've also jumped in a hole in the frozen sea naked after sauna. People outside of Finland are amazed by that, but it's not that special in Finland itself.
