I’m Ibrahim A Kamara. I’m a social entrepreneur in Sierra Leone. I'm the executive director of Safe Haven Adaptive Response Program [SHARP].

SHARP is addressing the unfavorable climate condition in Freetown that impacts residents of the slums and creeks communities. We are addressing the climate impact with a sustainable solution by providing disaster relief, access to quality education, sustainable agriculture programs and relocation of families to safe climate areas. Our goal is to ensure that no one in Sierra Leone suffers from annual flooding. We hope that our disaster response and climate disaster mitigation programs serve as an example for other programs around the world that address the impacts of climate change on at-risk communities and ensure resilience for all humans.
