ABOUT ME

I am a young guy, on exchange in France from Australia. But I usually study English and French at Sydney Uni, nearly done!!! I'm quite good at,lifting things down from high shelves (or putting things on high shelves) because I am quite tall with long, spindly arms.

I can be quite serious or not at all but am generally up for anything. Most of all I like to be doing things, i.e. busy or around people. I have not travelled all that much and even less without my family so couchsurfing is a new and exciting experience for me. I did get to do it with a friend and my brother last year though and it was fun!

Keen to meet people while I'm overseas, first real trip by myself so I'm excited to make it a good one

I've couchsurfed only once in France but it was great! Such a good idea and a great way to travel and meet new people

Film, Books, Literature, Soccer, Music, Meeting people, some fun childish things...Pokemon!, Dancing, live music, drinks and foodies...The sea! Nature, but as I mentioned especially the sea. Its so cool and its little animals. I enjoy knowing a bit about how the world works, so I am interested in politics, history, science - especially physics, in a general sort of way.

Books - 100 Years of Solitude, anything by Jonathon Safran-Foer, American Psycho, Lord of the Rings, Murakami, Watchmen. Done a lot of American Literature at Uni

Movies - Had a Tarantino thing recently - Inglorious Basterds, Kill Bill. Spirited Away, Howl's Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic *(Wes Anderson in general!), Lost Highway - Twin Peaks is fantastic! Brokeback Mountain, TheDark Knight, Star Wars, Other classic Sci Fi like BladeRunner, Terminator etc. and HEAPS more...

Music - up and down, liking Sufjan Stevens, Beach House, Coldplay at the moment, but plenty ranging from super cheesy to kind of semi-obscure
