Resumen
Sobre mí
Hey y'all. A bit about myself: I love learning languages and farming! I'm going to school for environmental science, with a focus on sustainable agriculture. I'll be spending my spring semester in Israel to learn more about growing food in a hyper-arid climate and will be traveling around Europe beforehand. If you speak Hebrew, let's chat! I spent this summer in an immersive Hebrew language program, so I want to put it to use! I also need to brush up on my Spanish and French, so if you speak either of those, we can communicate that way too. :-)
I love gardening and planting/harvesting food from the earth. Embracing my future grandma status, I really enjoy embroidering and sewing/altering clothes. Yes, I knit too. I also shoot 35mm film, and documenting my travels through this medium is close to my heart. Mainly, connecting with other humans in a real and meaningful way is the basis for all that I do, so I'd love to get to know you! My favorite way to make those connections and to travel is through food!! Let's eat :-)
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
I'm on couchsurfing to meet awesome people such as yourself! I tried couchsurfing for the first time in June of 2018 with a few friends in Montreal and Quebec City, and it was a great experience! I loved it and want to do it again, hoping to host fellow surfers after college! I am on a tight budget, so combining meeting locals and awesome hosts for cheap is what I'm all about!! I really want to plug myself into the culture and eat the FOOD!

Música, películas y libros
It's always hard for me to categorize ultimate favorites, so I won't try. If it can make me feel emotions, it's earned it's spot in my book. These are some current waves I'm riding:
Music: Hozier, Hippo Campus, Hound Mouth, Zohar Argov, Jane Bordeaux, etc.
Movies: Atonement, The Boy in the Striped Pajamas
Books: The Antidote, The Red Tent, Throne of Glass, etc.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I climbed a volcano in Guatemala - it was the hardest thing I've done physically and the closest to death I've ever felt.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I know a ton of great and insanely delicious vegetarian and vegan dishes that I would love to share!
Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones
Cultural exchange! I love a good conversation and sharing about life. I love cooking, so I can cook up a meal for us too :-)
