ABOUT ME

I am a Mexican-American gay man living in Austin, Texas, USA. I was born to Mexican parents in the city of El Paso, Texas, and I spent part of my childhood, living in Juárez, Chihuahua. Juárez borders El Paso, so when my parents and I moved to the USA, we frequently visited Juárez so I very much consider myself a "binational" individual. I have many hobbies, most of which require some physical exertion; I enjoy running, cycling, swimming, weight-training and anything else that requires me to move and use my body. I'm a varsity level runner, cyclist and tennis player. I love reading and I enjoy all genres; I'm particularly fascinated by surrealism and works that focus on identity, migration and the historical relevance of the subjugation of races everywhere.
I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and I most recently spent some time in Colombia, Ecuador and Peru.

PHILOSOPHY

I appreciate human valor and I adore freedom. I am all about living in the moment and enjoying the miraculous capacity of my body to exist in this time and age. Likewise, I live to learn about the many ways I can experience the world around me.
