Currently I'm into a bit of a self-development and enhancement of my life and those of people I care about phase. Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: I especially like comedy and nostalgic movies but can really watch anything. Some of my favourites include: Back to the Future, Star Wars, Gremlins, Scarface, Mean Girls, and The Wrestler

Music: I can appreciate any type of music and what I listen to is usually dictated by my mood. Some of the artists I enjoy include: Bruce Springsteen, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biggie Smalls, CSS, Lupe Fiasco, Motley Crue, The Kooks, Leonard Cohen, Ice Cube, Nas, Fozzy, M.I.A., Gotye, and The Jezabels.

Books: I really enjoy reading, particularly post-apocalyptic themed fiction or sci-fi. I also like to read autobiographies and books about psychology. Some of my favourite books include: Cloud Atlas, A Lion's Tale, The Millenium Trilogy, Kite Runner, Life of Pi, The Road, Fight Club, The Stand.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of my favourite memories is when myself and several of my closet friends traveled to Bali (My first overseas venture!). While the whole trip was amazing, the moment that I remember most fondly is the time when we had a fresh seafood feast on the beach at sunset. Surrounded by people I really care about and who care about me we had possibly the best tasting meal we had ever eaten. Watching the waves crash into shore and the sun setting in the distance, I felt completely at peace. Whenever I think about this moment it never fails to make me smile.

Teach, Learn, Share

I guess I might be able to teach a few things here and there. Some psychology, Australiana, terrible dad jokes, random pointless tidbits about movies, music, and life in general.

I would love to learn to play the piano, to draw, and write with more skill and creativity!
