About Me

I have lived in Ottawa, Canada most of my life, but I was born in Ekaterinburg, Russia . I have recently obtained a second college diploma in Computer Programming and now work as an IT developer. Although I believe that learning is a continuous process in life, I must say it is incredibly nice to not worry about assignments and exams!
Now that I am done school, I try to do more sports, music, and travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am very new to Couchsurfing. The reason I would like to get into it is because I believe it's a fantastic way to meet people and aid their travels by helping save on accomodations. Travelling is fun and exciting, but it is getting more and more pricy , so if I can contribute to someone's travelling experience and make it more pleasant, I will be happy. Let me know how I can help and I will do my best to do so :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy all types of music, and my preference often varies on the mood. I am a huge fan of melodic/ symphonic metal though. I love watching action, adventure and comedy movies and talk about business and programming.
Some of my favourite books are books in self-development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Every time I play a show with a band in a local venue, it is an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play drums and used to teach it too many years back. I could certainly offer a lesson or two if interested. I love to continuously learn about business, programming and languages. As for sharing, it's my nature to share whatever I can.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can happily share any travelling tips in my local area and potentially give you rides to downtown area whenever possible. I can gladly offer a basement couch for the night, my sense of humour, some basics of Russian language, and give a drum lesson or two :)

Countries I’ve Visited

Czech Republic, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Canada, Russian Federation
