Easy going guy and part-time pirate. Very much a free spirit, who has a habit of meeting various people in slightly random situations! Currently I divide my time between working in England and living (plus working) in Auvergne, France. Love meeting new people and catching up with those that I do know. Always nice to share some drinks and enjoy those random encounters that makes life so interesting :-)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To make the most of the time we have and share those simple moments together. I think its quite amazing how just simply meeting new people and chatting can make such a difference to our lives. With couchsurfing there's a whole world out there to explore and people to meet.

Interests

Well in my spare time I produce art, music and spend far to much time mooching about on the net. I love to cook (Asian food especially) enjoy a nice bottle of wine ( French of course :-) and a decent beer. Enjoy being outside in nature and go walking in the countryside when I can. finally for the reason I'm on here, I love to travel, explore and share experiences with other people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love listening to things like Aphex Twin, Radiohead and all sorts of electronica, ambient, dnb etc along with my own stuff! :-)
Like all types of films really, depends on what mood I'm in. Special mention however goes to anything with subtitles (Asian cinema especially) and things like the Bourne series, Lord of The Rings etc.
As for TV shows, well things like Twin Peaks and The X Files I can spend all night watching.
Enjoy reading books such as Lord of The Rings, Discworld series and also more spiritual stuff from people like Jiddu Krishnamurti etc

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Too many to mention but just simply listening to Aphex Twin play at a music festival in London has been one thing that sticks in my memory.
