I am an ukrainian student, the man who wants to see thw world as it is, without the charm of the travel booklets.
I study chinese and spanish, and enjoy meeting new cultures. I love to talk about peculiarities of different languages, geography, culture and technological affairs of the world that changes.
I do not smoke and seldom drink alcohol and I am considered as the quiet person that respects the silence at night.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Every country, city or the neighborhood is not the bunch of premises and infrastructure. It consists of the people, and it's impossible to feel the spirit of the place you visit without direct interaction with locals. I use Couchsurfing to get the full experience while visiting the places all over the world, that could not be achieved by conventional means of travelling (decent hotels are the same everywhere, right?)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Haggled down the price of a bracelet 5 times lower in a chinese flea market (and just successfully living in a totally chinese-speaking environment for a month) while having been learning chinese by myself for a year in Ukraine before.
