About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Keep my way and find my place

ABOUT ME

My name is Dmitriy, I`m 23. Originally I`m from Russia but now I live and study Psychology and Languages in Munich, Germany. I`m friendly, communicative, and open-minded. I like to meet new people and learn something new from them. As well as I like to be at places where I`ve never been and find something interesting to me at the every new one. Traveling is the best activity I could imagine.

I am a sociable person, I like my friends but sometimes prefer to stay alone, I like literature (Russian, French, and American), fashion and art.

I believe in simple life and simple food. I really like rice and salat. I do yoga and jogging.

I have and like my blog (http://kingofchevron.wordpress.com) where I prefer to talk about things, inspirational to me. I worked as a model and .. I need this job again (actually, I just need a job in Munich). I tried and try make pictures, pretending to be a photographer, but.. I hope my mastery is groving. And.. finally, I am dreaming about writing tne "next great story", I mean, make something as a writer. But for now I cannot say I have enough courage to start and enough experience to share.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to enjoy the every moment of life.

Trying to trust the Universe but always control the situation)

Hate to fail but I do BUT "try again, fail again, fail better"

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just episodically - giving advice to people who visit Munich which places are good to be in.
Hope to get some couchsurf-experience during my Italian vacation in February-March.

Interests

As I have said, I like reading. The most awful thing for me that I always want to read more but not always have time for that. Anyways, I like Russian and American classics. Salinger and Fitzgerald are the best. As well as Tolstoy from Russians.

I`ve been doing yoga for 6 years.

I like languages. I speak Russian (oh, obvious), English, and German (a bit). In my plans - French and Italian.

Traveling is what makes me feel real good. If I could, I would spend all my time and money on traveling, and honestly if I travel somewhere, it`s always enough for me just to have a place to sleep, my camera, and a map to walk around the city. That`s what real freedom means to me.

Finally, I love music. I prefer Muse, Coldplay, Lana Del Rey as well as indi and rock (a bit). Usually I listen to some random indi stuff.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... "Hours" is the best, I suppose.

Books.. A lot, but .. "The Catcher in the Rye" and Virginia Woolf, "Mrs. Dalloway" are the favourites.

Music.. For now, Lana Del Rey, Florence and the Machine, and Coldplay.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. The first time I`ve been to Paris. That was the moment "I have been waiting for all my life". Atmosphere and walking around the city and language - all about my Paris life.

2. My Munich`s life and how I "step by step" discover the city and my German life.

3. Not the moment but the whole life. It doesn`t have to look philosophical or something. Every day I have something special, moments what inspire me - when I read or walk through the city or write to my blog. Lets keep it as the final point of this section and as the most global one.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ready to learn as much as I can. I mean life-learning, from people, in traveling or even in routine. Life is so big and different, there are no limits to get experience.

From my side, I could share my experience of living in two countries, speaking in 3 (sometimes - 4, the 4th is Italian, and it`s pretty episodical) languages, enjoying and suffering, traveling and cooking, partying and staying home to watch a good movie, everything I know.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Sweden, Ukraine

Countries I’ve Lived In

Germany, Russian Federation
