About Me

I worked at a university for many years and did analytical work, but once had to flee the country due to political persecution.
For the past four years, I’ve been living in Warsaw, Poland.
I often write articles on the situation in Belarus, run a popular YouTube channel focused on human rights, politics, economy and country-specific reviews, and I frequently appear on various TV platforms.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m launching a long-distance solo bicycle journey — VeloLiberty: 5000+ Kilometers Across Europe. The route will take me from Warsaw through Central and Southern Europe to Cape Marroquí in Spain and then to Cabo da Roca in Portugal — the southernmost and westernmost points of the European continent. I plan to cycle through around 11 countries.

Throughout this journey, I will document life in villages, towns, and cities across the continent. I’ll share stories about ordinary people, record video reports. Many people in the country where I was born (Belarus) have never been to Europe and have a distorted view of reality shaped by propaganda. I want to show how countries and people can live without borders. I often write articles on the situation in Belarus, run a popular YouTube channel focused on human rights, politics, economy and country-specific reviews, and I frequently appear on various TV platforms.

Music, Movies, and Books

Lots of different ones. Depends on my mood

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2024, I organized a protest action to block the Poland–Belarus border for freight trucks, demanding that the dictator Lukashenko release all political prisoners.

Teach, Learn, Share

During my bicycle journey from Warsaw to Portugal, I want to immerse myself in local communities to create a series of videos and share with my YouTube audience how people live across the European Union.
