Hello, my name is Dmitry (or simply Dima for friends). I from Russia and I'm living in Cherepovets - the town in severe north of our country. In a region of frost and domestic bears (joke :)

I'm working as a programmer, but most of all I like to travel. My lifestyle and my delight is in opening and exploring of new countries and cultures, in enjoing with fantastic views of our planet and its nature. My work makes me a rationalist and my hobby makes me a romanticist. All my life is a battle between this two opposit sides of my nature. I hope, romanticism will win, I root for it :)

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

Usually I use to live in hotels during my voyages. But it will be rather interesting to gane an experience of Couchsurfing, because it´s a way to meet new friends, practice foreign languages and to get acquainted with foreign cultures.

Centres d'intérêt

Traveling is the main passion of my life. Discovery of new countries, cultures, cities or simply beautiful places for me is a drug and I will hardly ever rid of this dependence. During last few years I use to explore mainly European counties. And though I am a guy from the North I have a longing mainly to the South. Spain and Italy are my favourite countries, where I like practically everything: nature, culture, language, kitchen and people's worldview.
Spanish language is my favourite. But sometimes I am too lazy to learn it really well :)

As I am rather emotional person, another my passion is sport, especially football and ice hockey. In Russia my favourite team is Lokomotiv (Moscow). In abroad... It is hard to say - maybe National Team of Spain. :)

IT... I can't say that this is my passion. Simply it is my work which gives me opportunity to live.
