ABOUT ME

I'm 25 years old, living in Moscow
Used to work in a big international company but then it became too boring and I left. Now I work in a e-comerce startup as a manager responsible for analytics and internal optimizations, usinf my brain to make things better

I got BA in Political Science and MA in change management, at the moment working on my thesis to get a PhD degree in economics.

I can describe myself as a structured-in-work and spontaneous-in-life person, who can make unusual decision (e.g. get up at home and occassionally go hitchhiking to some place 300km out of Moscow).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I both surf and couch cause, on the one hand, I like travelling (and couchsurfing gives you a great opportunity to travel). On the other hand, I have place in my flat to couch people so it's seems fair for me to give surfers an opportunity to surf in Moscow.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a Eurotrip in August 2011. It started in Budapest (Hungary) and ended in Lisbon (Portugal)
My way included places in Hungary, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, France, Spain, Portugal

Practically in all cities I managed to find hosts. So it was short (1month) but eventful experience

Last 3 years I host people from time to time which gives me an opportunity to get to know really amazing people

Interests

when I have free time (as I'm quite busy at work and at study), I read books, meeting with friends, play some games, sing songs, dance hustle - in short, try to diversify my pastime

Books: different from Aesop Fablesand and Herodotus to modern literature

Movies: do not have any favourites
sometimes watch Kubrick, sometimes Tarkovsky, sometimes Coens, sometimes Lynch.. and sometimes any crap for your eyes and brains

classical (Grieg, Tchaikovsky, Bach, Chopin), like symphonic music, organ, harp, harpsichord

So, I've read a lot and I can talk about a lot of things

We can discuss politics, culture, world's future

I can tell a lot about Russian history and culture

Besides, can show you some basic elements of hustle dancing

I would like to learn some latino dancing, interesting cooking recipes... actually whatever I can learn
