ABOUT ME

i am fun loving (to much for my own good sometimes), liberal, relaxed person. i like to drink, smoke, dance, love listening to music especialy all sorts. love to socialise and do crazy things that make me feel alive and even shit me up a bit, but i am also content with my own company and a pair of head phones or a good book. life is to short to worry about things. lifes to short for regrets and if it isnt working move on theres a world of stuff to make me smile.was called a camelion the other day, was not sure how to take it but i think im a real empathetic guy and can chill with all walks of life. i take a little while to open up and warm to people and realy start talking, guess that just means im not fake, like to listen and i dont like to offend the easily offended. if ur chilled, reealy open minded and like to party then frienship will flourish. :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i believe we live in world full of media scare tactics and general mistrust of people, couch surfing re-affirms my faith in strangers and the charity of mankind. Myself and other surfers connect people and places in a way not before possible. Its a cultural exchange impossible to obtain by staying in hotels or even hostels, i give a local twist to my surfers stay and hope for the same in return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i have only hosted in greece, and very much enjoyed the company and culture from doing so i have also met alot of surfers through friends. the couple of times iv been hosted i could not have asked for a warmer reception and more of a stimulating encounter with my awsome hosts. i think it important but not essential to pay respects to a host by any means you have.

Interests

scuba diving, swimming, dancing, music, moshing, skanking, raving, talking, running, reading, surfing, films, skiing, drinking, climbing, caving, smoking, swinging, relaxing, adrenaline, the sun, friends, women, beaches new experiences. care alot about peoples freedoms and enjoy political, deep or conversations with many differant points of view where my views or beliefs are perhaps questioned. i like to argue but only to see others points and usualy in an impartial way as i am extremely liberal.

now i love it all, i am vey open minded love all sorts of festivals,GOOD indipendant hip hop, roots music, reggae,folk, chill and i Love freestyle dancing mainly to drum and base, and dub step also trance techno some house but generaly to comercial for me. rave it up!! favorites would be (to mix genres) Braintax,roots manuva, anything hospital records,eg high contrast, logistics eg, Dub Fx, Gentelmans dub club, bonobo, fat freddys drop, mr scruff, undercover hippy, isis,radiohead, easy star all stars. could go on forever..
hate TV love Movies = some new mainly classic hollywood, all kuberic, tarantino, scorscese. gotta be arty realy so like international real life stuff. la dolce vita, schindlers list, old boy, battle royal could go on forever! british films rule.Dead mans shoes,this is britain,lock stock, train spotting, withnail & I, london to brighton, dissapearance of alice creed, hot fuzz eg eg
BOOKS. when i have time its steven king, crime bio's like bronson or howard marks, fantasy like diskworld or lord of the rings even have a go at some timothy leary or plato.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i have been to every continent on the planet bar the poles. dived and explored some incredible places, caves reefs and wrecks. lived in Mexico, Greece and Jordan, iv slept on a few beaches, up a few mountains up afew trees,and even under vehicles. iv responded to a brutal emergencie using my medical instructor training. and often seem to be in nations capitols with pennies in my pocket but thats all part of the fun and living for the moment.i keep a mental list of crazy things i must do before i die.

Teach, Learn, Share

i try to learn something every day. i think i give good advice. and appreciate recieving it. can teach 1st aid and scuba, and could build a reasonable house aswell
