关于我
For those, who are travelling to Bratislava, I would be happy to give a small tour of the most interesting places in the city center.
I'm a Senior Solo Hiking Developer. Originally from Ukraine, but the past years have been living in Slovakia, where finishing my Master's degree in Informatics. Day-to-day I work as an IT Architect. However, after the work I hit a gym, go rollerblading or simply walking in nature. Always busy. But when get tired from my active lifestyle, I read books.
I love meeting new people from around the world, learn foreign languages and about different cultures.
I travel solo and normally go multi-day treks with my backpack and camp somewhere in the wild.
Adore mountains ofc. Ain't a party animal and barely drink any alcohol, but I'm intelligent so it's never boring with me:)
I have a rich experience in communication with people from different countries/cultures. Capable of building respectful communication, finding an individual approach to everyone and common ground. Moreover, I am funny and always bring light energy.
I have just opened the world of Couchsurfing and this is going to be my first experience, so if you are interested to know about me a bit more: https://www.instagram.com/dmytro.somewhere/
P.s.: I'm making first steps in learning Spanish, so it would be nice to have some elementar conversations with natives
我为什么加入 Couchsurfing
To meet new people around the world, listen about their life stories or travelling, make friends, learn about new cultures. To share my positive vibe, tell my stories.
I am building a network of international friends for myself around the world. And you know what? I've already built something!

音乐、电影和书籍
Listen to all kind of music and in different languages, even those I do not understand. I do not watch movies (yes, such people do exist), but the last books I read are Dan Brown "Inferno", Meg Jay "The defining decade", Daniel Kahneman "Thinking, Fast and Slow" and Alex Kora "Backpack revolution"
我做过的一件不可思议的事情
1. Was volunteering as an assistant in a language school in Georgia for 6 weeks. A real Georgian family was hosting me.
2. Went on a solo hike on West Lycian Way in Turkey to celebrate my birthday. Wanna make it as a tradition! :D
3. Helped to my sister to move to Norway.
