Hey there!
I'm Dmytro and I know it's really hard for people from other countries to pronounce my name. As my German teacher said: "it just has vowels in the wrong place" lol.
I graduated from the Ukrainian university in 2017 (who cares), and decided it's time to become the citizen of the world: new countries, cool adventures, crazy experiences and all this stuff.
Well... things changed a little bit and I'm again stuck at the university doing my Master degree in Munich (yeah bro, really cool adventure).
I don't like to describe myself, but other people often tell me that they feel like we have known each other for ages, even if we have just acquainted.
I only want to admit that I am happy to meet sincere and extraordinary people, listen to their thoughts and understand their worldview.
I am open for any kind of adventures, experiences and feelings as we live only once, but it's not exactly lol.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I created this account more than 2 years ago, but unfortunately didn't have a possibility to feel all the benefits of Couchsurfing till summer 2017. I did a small hitchhiking Eurotrip and this site really helped me with my challenge.
Why I'm here? Well, it's quite simple... I want to feel the atmosphere of different cities and staying at locals is the best way to do this. I find the standard travel guides really boring, so I hope that natives will show me the most atmospheric places and tell all hidden secrets of their cities lol.

兴趣

I play in theater in Munich. I do fencing. I do jiu-jitsu. I write poems. I started to write a book about my hitchhiking adventures. The problem is that I'm pretty bad at everything :( I love cinematography and film-making. I'm not arrogant, but I will be the best director in the world, I just know it. Finally I want to learn how to play piano. I also want to be a painter... probably a musician as well. I have an infinite desire to try everything, so if you want to help or teach me something, I will be extremely grateful!

My tastes in music mostly depend on my mood. I could say that generally I'm a fan of indie rock, jazz, and soul, but I don't limit myself with genres. I like music that touches my soul and makes me feel something. It's the same with films, books, paintings and any other form of art.

As I watched hundreds of them, films' part is pretty difficult. I love films of Fincher, Tarantino and Anderson. Probably, my top 5 would be: Fight Club, Pulp Fiction, Matrix Trilogy, Whiplash, and Oldboy. Anyway, it's not exactly.
Films' update: I just rewatched "Her" and "Me and Earl and the Dying Girl" for the second or third time, I don't remember. Absolutely beautiful...

Favorite TV-series: Black Mirror, Westworld, Mr. Robot, Fargo, Game of Thrones, True Detective, Stranger Things and Rick and Morty.

Books of Victor Pelevin, Carlos Castaneda and Fyodor Dostoevsky.

My first hitchhiking experience - traveled around 1400 km during 2 weeks (Czech Republic-Germany-Austria-Hungary-Ukraine).
My second hitchhiking experience - traveled around 1000 km during a week (Croatia-Montenegro-Albania).
