Hi! Welcome to my CS page!

Call me Dima, which is short from Dmytro. Yes, Ukrainin language is strange🙂 I was born and grow up in Kyiv, Ukraine. My first international experience was AIESEC Global Citizen Internship in Algeria in summer 2015. Ever since, I regularly do volunteering, studying abroad and traveling to a different place.

Two years ago I have done the trip around the globe on the ship MV World Odyssey during the program Semester at Sea. We sailed from Europe down to South Africa, then Asia and finished in North America. We were studying normal university classes on the ship while traveling to different countries to receive a global perspective of the world. At this moment you should say WOW!!! Thanks.

I studied in five countries, was kicked out of the Ukrainian university twice and finally graduated in summer 2019. Then in September, I came back on Semester at Sea as a post grad student and this time we sailed from Europe to Africa, Latin America, through the Panama Canal to the Pacific side of Latin America, Ecuador!!! and to North America. I fell in love with Ecuador and decided to live here for a few months.

I'm happy to meet locals in Quito to learn about your country or guests of the city to tell what fascinates me in Ecuador so much.

The trip around the world.

Circumnavigating the globe took me 150 days and 70,000 km. The biggest part of the trip I studied on the ship MV World Odyssey on the program called Semester at Sea. It was a floating university. We sailed 106 days to eleven countries. We had classes on the ship and field programs in countries. We studied global perspective to receive a brief picture of the world culture interdependence.

On the evry day I signed up in CS, I've got a dream to write "The trip around the world" in this section:)
