About Me

I am from Ukraine, but now I stay in Malta for half a year.

Few words about what am I doing in this life:

Travelled from the extreme West to extreme East of Ukraine (2100 km) on my old bicycle. Newer had any cycling journey longer than 2 days or 230 km before that.

Hitchhiked from L'viv (Ukraine) to Baku (Azerbaijan) and back (9000 km), covering a lot of countries and places.

I do unicycling. Now I am doing Erasmus+ in Malta and I hope to cross the island from one side to the opposite on a unicycle, when I'll find some time. (UPD: I did)

I am on my final year at university, studying Politics. I like International relations and I always know everything about current affairs in the world. But don't worry, I newer bother people with politics if they are not interested in it.

I used to work as a cook for a few months, so I can cook. And I do. I am actually obsessed with food. I probably am even more professional in eating than in cooking.

Also, I now try myself in journalism, writing texts for a podcast on International relations.

I like to talk about everything.

I do a lot of nature tourism and that is the best part of my life.

I watch movies, and that's how I lose a lot of time in my life :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

That's for sure the best way to experience the country and having fun. New cool people, that's what I like. I love to hear from locals some routine stuff about their society, which actually I am always curious about. That is always my philosophy of travel, and that is why I prefer hitchhiking and couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

La Femme, The Beatles, The Velvet Underground, Crystal Castles, The Doors. I can listen to any music, but contemporary pop.

Movies: I used to like Quentin Tarantino and Guy Ritchie, but that's kind of classic.
The Tree of Life - is probably the best what I've seen in a past few years.
Also, I like Kusturica's movies.

Teach, Learn, Share

How to cook something. Or a lifehack, how to use multiplication table by 9 without remembering it or counting :)
