About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Carpe Diem.

ABOUT ME
I'm vaccinated, but I don't care if you aren't. I train jujitsu 3-4 days a week in a gym of 30-50 people. So.... whatever.
I'm a father and all-around curious person. Love the outdoors and everything artistic or mechanical. This profile is mostly out of date. Don't really care to update. I haven't really changed all that much.
I have a house in Bonita Springs FL. If I host you I WILL take a portrait (headshot) of you for my record, I will email it to you. Something I do and it will happen as soon as you walk in my door. You've been warned. : )

PHILOSOPHY

The golden rule, that's a good one. I keep it real... real relaxed.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Had a great experience through Europe and met some cool folks in Costa Rica.  I host when I can.  I believe CS is the smartest way to travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All experiences have been wonderful. It turns out that we are all in fact ONE. Couch surfing is a feather in the hat to social networking.

Interests

Curiosity has yet to snuff me out. I am also quite cynical in as much of a constructive way that one can be. The equalizer is humor, which I consider myself highly attune.

Music, Movies, and Books

What can I say? I like artsy stuff. Whatever is different and unique. My music tastes are all over the place. I love contemporary art particularly public art and anything challenging conventions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I have done so many things outdoor-related, at least within the US, that I have a hard time nailing down one thing. There was a night, the first night in Cally that stands out however, I was 19 and had never really seen mountains. It was a full moon and my Dad was driving me through Big Sur. It didn't seem real. The jagged coastline and the brightness of the moon. I'm glad he was driving because I would have driven off any of the 500-foot cliffs I was so entranced by the scenery. I guess I live where I see that kind of beauty all the time but that is what got me hooked on mountain living.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a spare room with a twin bed and a private bathroom for you to use. My house is very much a work in progress. Fixer-upper.

Countries I’ve Visited

Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Mexico, Spain
