Overview
About Me
I'm a guy from Roskilde, Denmark who likes to meet new people and have new experiences.
I like keeping busy, having people around me, and doing all kinds of projects.
Generally I just try to have a good time.
PHILOSOPHY
Best described through this quote, I think:
"The infinite possibilities each day holds should stagger the mind. The sheer number of experiences I could have is uncountable, breathtaking. Yet we live trapped in loops, reliving a few days over and over, and we envision only a handful of paths laid out ahead of us. We see the same things each day, we respond the same way, we think the same thoughts, each day a slight variation on the last, every moment smoothly following the gentle curves of societal norms. We act like if we just get through today, tomorrow our dreams will come back to us. And no, I do not have all the answers. I do not know how to jolt myself into seeing what each moment could become. But I do know one thing: The solution does not involve watering down my every little idea and creative impulse for the sake of some day easing my fit into a mold. It does not involve tempering my life to better fit someone´s expectations. It does not involve constantly holding back for fear of shaking things up. This is very important."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Hoping to meet a lot of cool people! I hosted a few people, and it's been great every time!
Interests
I´m very engaged in the cultural and social life in my city, and do all kinds of projects in that regard. I'm very privileged to be able to work with my passion for performances, volunteering, events etc. every day through my job at a local cultural house/socioeconomic business.
I like to do stuff that ultimately benefits others (or all of us) in some way or another - and I very much see culture as a driver for this kind of change.
I'm generally quite interested in people, politics and philosophy (in the sense that I like to think about all kinds of things in new or different manners), and I love learning. Doing stuff yourself is a thing that appeals to me.
I'm also very much into music - I play guitar and software/hardware synths, and are doing live sound, studio recordings/mixing and other sound-related stuff. I'm also engaged in strategic development in the music world - especially with electronic music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Not sure what to write here. I think I always do amazing things with other people, not so much by myself.
One example is building, fundraising and running a DIY underground recording studio based on volunteering with the goal of creating a community around the place - making music production, recording, mixing, mastering etc. more accessible to people wanting to get into that world.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have some experience with arranging and designing different kinds of cultural events, and naturally I know a lot about Denmark.
I also work a lot with innovation - creating new forms of institutions or platforms that are neither private-, public-, union- nor education-based, but makes working together across these societal divisions in new ways and constellations easier and more meaningful.
I´d love to learn more about how life is everywhere else. But I´m happy to learn anything really.
