Overview
About Me
I went to fashion design school in Los Angeles, then somehow ended up working at Apple doing techy stuff. So I mostly have a creative background, but I'm naturally drawn to technology as well.
My boyfriend, Andrew and I just recently bought our first house and are in the process of renovating it ourselves. So we're pretty much always busy.
We have two pups, Riley & Cooper who've we've had since they were unity bitty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
While we'd like to host eventually, currently we're going to be traveling through Europe for a friend's wedding in Italy. We have an overnight layover in Iceland, but we're spending a few days in Denmark and France as well.
We hope to meet new folks who share our sense of adventure. We think the best way to get to know an area is through the locals so we hope to meet some peeps who know their way around. We're easy going, level headed guys who like to have a some laughs. We also can't wait try out new flavors and see all kinds of neat things.
Interests
dogs, avocado's, a good laugh, hiking, backpacking, snorkeling, exploring, shiny things, tumblr, 4X4, illustration -- all the basics. Oh yes, and cake, of course. (I have a sweet tooth for baked goods)

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a broad range of music, but really get into raw vocals and harmonies. Doesn't get any better than when it's live. Don't spend much of my time watching movies, but I'm generally easy to please. I'm into the deep space travel concept lately (Pandorum). As for books, I don't read enough of them. The most recent books I read were Night, by Elie Wiesel, and Snervous, by Tyler Oakley. I just bought the first book of Game of Thrones though too.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in Maui, Hawaii a few years back for about 7 months and loved every second of it. I've never felt so much at home there. I plan on going back to live there more permanently eventually. The culture, people, and raw beauty of the land is something to behold. Once you're introduced to the meaning of Aloha, it never quite leaves you.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I suppose I can tell you fun stories of silly things I've done, and places I've been. Andrew and I have back packed the Philippines, and driven all throughout the Western United States, as well as the Hawaiian Islands. We like to explore and enjoys sharing our adventures with friends, so we've got plenty of fun experiences to share with others.
