About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Achieving the perfect balance between face-saving industry and delicious uselessness.

ABOUT ME

I'm fairly laid-back and easy-going. I'm a generous person by nature. I'm a bit quiet at first but once you get me talking it can go on for hours on end.

PHILOSOPHY

Do the right thing even when nobody is looking. Live your life right and you won't need to tell any lies.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Fully, why not?

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted and surfed in multiple countries and love it.

Interests

I like to have music playing pretty much all day when I'm home. I have pretty varied musical tastes and don't usually crank the volume up too loud so this shouldn't be too big of an issue for surfers. I cook a lot and enjoy cooking for others so that's always an option on the table. I try to meditate often. Most of all I enjoy meeting and talking to interesting people from around the world.

Music, Movies, and Books

As far as music goes I like a lot of different genres: indie rock, Americana, reggae, punk, jazz, electronica, chillout, northern African etc.

I don't watch TV or movies and I can read books all by myself now so don't think either of those are too relevant :) Actually, if you simply read any kind of books at all we will probably get along just fine!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I travel a good bit, and the things I always enjoy the most and end up remembering are the times I meet actual real people in my travels. Drinking home-made vodka in rural Russia, sleeping in a Bedouin tent in the Sahara, and visiting peoples' homes all over the world have all been experiences I wouldn't trade for anything. Museums and pretty architecture can be fun but in the end do you really remember those things?!?

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm a fount of useless knowledge and am always looking to learn more about anything. I can cook pretty well and am happy to show you how to make something tasty and healthy. I know that having an acoustic guitar is de rigeuer for a CS host... I'm working on it I promise.
