Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see a slice of the Iberian Peninsula by bicycle, to test my endurance, to try to understand, to see and hear beauty
ABOUT ME
I am an sound-inclined person who has been fortunate enough to parlay this into a day job (night job) as a live sound engineer at venues in Portland. Rhythm is really important to me. I was a fidgeter as a kid, and I still tap on stuff to get the inner linear flow of patterns out of my body and into the world. Didn't graduate college, but the experiences I had and the brilliant folks I met there did very much mold the course of my life up to this point. I am fascinated and mystified by current events.
PHILOSOPHY
Keep on keepin' on? ...I probably need to give this one more thought.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
First experience starting right this second, mediated by friends so far, looking forward to this first adventure in Portugal and Spain!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have so far been couchsurfing with my friend Alec in Lisbon and Faro, Portugal, and Granada, Spain as we bicycle from Lisbon to Almería. He has been doing the outreach so far, but I am looking forward to meeting people and surfing through the website myself. The folks we stayed with had a hugely significant impact on the depth of experience we were able to manifest on the way, and I am deeply grateful to all the host who put us up/put up with us.
