Hi! My name is Doan (pronounced Dawn) and I am currently studying Biology at Temple University (last semester!). My goal is to become a science teacher to brighten young minds of tomorrow.

My interests include hanging out with my two dogs (Maximus and Maestro), finding new places to eat/drink, explore new landmarks/nature spots, learning new skills, and artsy exploration. I love to make new connections and my goal is to travel to at least one country in every continent on the planet. I love traveling!

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all kinds of music, not so much rap. I don't particularly have a favorite genre, I listen to whatever hits my mood. Same with movies. I do have a soft spot for romantic comedies and dog movies (avid dog lover!). Used to read in high school but college became hectic so not much into reading now but I want to pick it up again! Recommend things to me!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Over the last winter break, I was able to travel to Europe. I visited 8 cities in Europe and I absolutely fell in love with the culture, the scenery, the attractions, the cuisine, the atmosphere...etc. Everything! This trip inspired a desire in me to travel more and see the world and explore what else is out there.

I want to learn more about culture and traditions and languages of other nations! I just want to see what else is in the world besides my little corner in Philadelphia. I am willing to teach whatever I know from living in Philadelphia for the last decade. Please, anything I can help, just ask!

I can take you around the city of Philadelphia and show you some of my favorite places to eat! Be prepared to take public transportation because finding parking in the city is a little b*! Public transportation has its own beauty and I'm still getting the hang of it myself! We can explore together :))
