Travel experience so far:
Summer 2003. Canada trip (Toronto, Niagara Fall, Montreal)
Summer 2005. Camping in Yosemite.
Dec 2007/Jan 2008. Tokyo, Japan. 3 weeks in Vietnam. (HCM and Nha Trang - Hue).
Aug 2009. Roadtrip to Denver CO from Bay Area.
Nov 2009. Las Vegas. Hoover Dam. Grand Canyon. Arizona.
Feb 2010. 1 week in South Carolina (Lyman)
May 2010. Roadtrip down the Pacific Coast Highway (multiples over the years)
Sept 2010. Boston - New York.
Jan 2011. 3 weeks in Maui Hawaii.
Oct 2011. 2 weeks in Costa Rica. (all over the west coast of CR)
Sept 2011. LA. Las Vegas. San Diego. San Simeon.
Nov 2011 - Feb 2012. 2.5 months in Vietnam. (all over central and south VN)
Apr - May 2012. 1 month + 1 week roadtrip throughout Florida (with the exception of the panhandle).
Oct 2012 - Washington DC for 10 days.
Feb 2013. Anchorage, Alaska. Then took a train from Anchorage to Fairbank to see the northern light.
May 2013. Montreal, Canada.
Oct 2013 - Washington DC for a few days.
Nov 2013 - Las Vegas. Zion National Park, Bryce Canyon NP, Hoover Dam.
Mar 2014 - Phoenix, AZ for San Francisco Giants Spring Training.
Dec 2014 - 3 weeks in Vietnam (HCM, Da Lat, Nha Trang)
Summer 2015. Camping in Yosemite.
2015 : Go camping one weekend every month for the whole year.

2016 - Roadtrip everywhere. 1 weeks driving all over Oregon, explore various hot springs in California.
2017 - 3 weeks in Hawaii (Oahu, Maui and Kauai)
2018 -
2019 - give up on keeping track cause I am all over the place (Vietnam, Indonesia)
2020-

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

If someone come to my hometown, let me know and if I am free I can show you around. Unfortunately I live with family so I cant lend you the couch, but everything else is game.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I found out about this site through a person who I was providing rideshare for and she talked about it. I think it's a nifty idea. Then I start meeting up with local CSers and hang out, make new friends. On my trip to florida, I start using couchsurfing and found quite a few hosts and make some good new friends! Hopefully I will meet more amazing people from couchsurfing in my future travels.

Interests

...mostly outdoor stuff : basketball, softball, watch baseball game (SF Giants), road trip, going to the beach, hiking, drinking, hanging out and having fun. Lately I been into hotsprings, so I am alway down to go checkout some spot closeby.

Teach, Learn, Share

...I am a life long learner, so if couchsurfing is going to start a university I am in.
...I think we all have a lot to learn from each other, the more we talk the more we learn and take out what we want to hear from others' conversation. And also teach other new perspectives at the same time.
