ABOUT ME

I studied abroad Toledo Spain for an academic year and am in wonder, awe and appreciation of the world.

I love to talk with random people, learn new things, take pictures and be thankful for opportunities.

About me hmm. I am a girl in my 20s who loves to smile and dream, the only problem is sometimes my head is in the clouds while my feet are on the ground-but it gives me direction.

Current personal project: living life to the fullest every day.
I like challenges. At times challenges can be frustrating and uncomfortable but it is the only way we can truly grow.

I prefer solid conversations with one or two people instead of loud parties but still enjoy going out to enjoy the night life.

I love to dance- any kind, but especially salsa, swing and ska. I'm not especially skilled in any form of dancing- but its all about having fun :)

I want to learn how to cook-really cook, so every meal is something new and exciting.

I love cows.

PHILOSOPHY

I think a lot of the way I live my life is derived from a workshop I attended called Leadership from the Heart.... but that is a whole conversation in itself.

I have couchsurfed in Ireland, France, Spain and Greece and encountered kind, hospitable, interesting and fun people in all places!

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies! I'm game for most any kind but I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of slapstick/ dry humor movies

Music is a huge passion of mine- I dont play any instruments or sing (well) but i think music speaks in ways humans cannot. One song can portray and invoke so many emotions in a short 3 minutes. There is nothing like driving in the summer with the windows rolled down, music loud and singing at the top of my lungs to a favorite song.

I like a wide range of music and love going to concerts

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I am a FIREWALKER! Firewalking is really something else- So far i've walked twice, but more to come! It only should be done with people who know what they are doing and in a safe environment. There is no real science to it although scientists my argue over this. Truly an amazing experience.

I love teaching, I'm currently in school for a Masters in Education and a license in English as a Second Language
