About Me

HOSTING:
I am looking forward to hosting travelers (I prefer travelers in single, but would consider double in specific circumstances) of the world who would like to have a genuine experience in San Diego, California with an enriched cultural experience! I have been blessed with having gracious hosts who have made my experience in the U.S. and foreign countries amazing, and I would like to give back to the CS community!

ABOUT JON:
I am a doctor/physician and love my job! The best part of it is making people feel better and healthier. Obviously, my job is demanding and I spend time working both at the hospital and home, and I would appreciate you considering this during your stay.
If my schedule allows, I would be excited to show you local spots including food and bars, or other amazing things. However, sometimes my work schedule will make me busy and I would hope you would understand and be able to be independent-- with my suggestions for places to go of course!

I'm a very open minded guy, always up for spontaneous activities.

MY PLACE:
I have a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom stand alone home in the Mission Hills/Downtown area of San Diego. You would be able to occupy the guest room and own bathroom . I do have a den in the main floor that I do work out of.
I have my own bed and bathroom floor, and would be generous with sharing the living room, kitchen and expansive patio!
I can help with clean towels and sheets.

LOCATION IN SAN DIEGO:

I am located in the near the downtown Little Italy area of San Diego, which I think is the best area of San Diego! It is close to the airport and 5 highway, and also close to Gaslamp and convention center. It is convenient to get around with public transportation or Uber/Lyft!

REFERENCES:
For safety, it is important that you have references. Social media may be acceptable to ensure that you are trusthworthy, I hope you understand.

HOUSE RULES:

Please be clean up after yourself, provide your own food, and be respectful. My preference is to host people who are open-minded and have the vision of couchsurfing in mind and want to experience other cultures and ways of life!

**For safety reasons I do not give out keys for entrance and exit to my place and I ask that I am there while you are. On weekdays, I have to go to work and I ask that we usually leave by 6:30 AM and I am back home around 7 or 8 PM, which usually works for individuals who can get their day started early and can occupy themselves in San Diego for the whole day!
