I had a lovely German lass stay over in 2008. Good experience all around, and I hope to make my first foray into staying on another's couch soon!

Hmmm . . . sleeping under the stars in the middle of the Egyptian desert? Kayaking through 9-foot swells on lake superior? Getting lost in narrow boats along Bangkok's maze of tiny canals? Getting my ass handed to me in a prefectural judo championships in Nagasaki, Japan.

Those were fun.
