I grew up & live in Vienna, where I enjoy springtime and summertime the most.
As a summer-loving person I can´t be without warm weather and most of my travel destinations are countries with high temperatures :)

I have been mostly to Europe, especially to Spain and Portugal, my two all-time-favourites. What I enjoy most about southern mentality is that life happens in the streets, not hidden behind walls in private homes.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I discovered travelling for myself during the last years. From time to time its important for me to escape everyday-routine and get new perspectives on life. Hearing different life concepts of new people inspires me and I hope to inspire some people aswell.

Interests

I like to create and to try out new things. I like pottery as well as making jewellery. Also, I appreciate more quiet moments, like sitting down and watching people pass by in the streets, communicating, doing their stuff. Thats also one part I love about photography - you can catch moments in their speciality and thats what I enjoy.

In Vienna I am mostly meeting up with my lovely friends, I seldomly stay at home doing nothing. I love to be outdoors and play beach-volleyball, bike on Viennas hills, go running in the late evening, or just sit down with friends on a warm summer evening at the old Danube riverside.

Music, Movies, and Books

LISTENING
What always works is Jack Johnson - its the only music I am listening to for years now and it never gets annyoing or boring. For me it has that smooth, calming sound of ocean waves.
Besides Jack I like the Rolling Stones, some hippie stuff, and also local stuff like the Austrian band "Wanda", Herbert Pixner project or oldschool Austropop.

DANCING
For me, the perfect music to dance to is Seeed, a german Dancehall/Ragga Band. Besides that I like hip hop. If its really really well made & mixed with elements of the above-mentioned, it can also be electronic music.
