Hi! I'm Irish raised in Spain and studied Fine Arts Degree and a Masters in Museum Education in Valencia.
I DO NOT HOST IN VALENCIA CITY. I live in the countryside in a town called CHIVA, 30km away from Valencia.

I love the intensity and sense of possibility that the city brings but nothing compares to the love I have for nature. I love hiking and I recently took up sailing.
I like to travel with intention. Typically, if I’m visiting somewhere, is because i have something to do there or something to think about. I try my best to travel conscientiously, and I like for people who come to my town to also be respectful.

I know CouchSurfing because of my mother (Fidelma McAndrew), we have been occasionally hosting people for years in our off-grid country house in a town called Chiva, in Valencia, Spain. I decided to open my account since I have my own life now. I’m usually open to hosting people when I’m back at that house, otherwise, not always can I host in the shared apartments I'm at. A lot of people come to enjoy "La Tomatina" Festival in August and the GP Motorbike racing in November)
I think CS is a great community of support. It's so wonderful to know you can help and be helped, and make each other's adventures so much more unique and enjoyable. It's also amazing to meet people from which to learn and share common interests. It creates a global culture of kindness, empathy, trust and respect.
