ABOUT ME

I just moved to Oak Park, IL. Why? Well, I just finished my PhD in Germany and wanted to experience something new. I've already been to the US more than 10 Years ago. I lived in Bloomington, IN as an exchange student and always wanted to live in the US once more. Here I am.
I love to hang out with people, go to new places or sometimes just read a book.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Actually, my first CouchSurfing Experience has been my exchange year. That doesn't mean I had to switch my host family all the time but you go to someone you don't really know and this person gives you a place to stay. You experience a different culture, language and different point of view. It has been an amazing experience.
Another wonderful CouchSurfing experience was Copenhagen, Denmark. My friends and me stayed with Mike on or way to meet a friend in Sweden. We had a great time, cooking, drinking and talking.
