ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly and open minded person who loves travelling and getting to know new people!
I studied medicine in Hannover and have been working as a radiologist near Hamburg since March 2012 now. Living in a small flat in Hamburg with my husband and little daughter Hanna, I enjoy going out in Hamburg, meeting friends or spending evenings at home- cooking, watching TV or reading.

In 2009 I got fond of backpacking: my husband and I traveled Europe by train and visited so many nice places like France or Italy! And after I had finished my studies in October 2011, I went to India with a friend of mine- what an adventure! :)

In 2014 we went on a 6-month trip around the world. We visited South America (Argentina and Chile), New Zealand, Sydney and some Asian countries (Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam and Cambodia), got to know a lot of great people and had an awesome time!!

Our next trip will bring us to Hawaii in October- it will be the first big trip for us with Hanna and we are really looking forward to it :-)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

By now me and my husband have hosted some really great Couchsurfers from different countries who visited Hamburg. But we also surfed some couches on our trip around the world and each time was really unique and amazing!

Interests

Meeting friends, going for long walks with our daughter and explore new places in Hamburg, traveling the world, cooking, reading good books, watching films, going to concerts or festivals, swimming, enjoying life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I like a wide range of of different movies... and I really LOVE watching the TV series 'The Big Bang Theory' and 'How I Met Your Mother' :)
I enjoy reading good books and magazines, too - although I haven't had too much time to read since Hanna was born.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Giving birth to our daughter in February this year and watching her grow now is pretty amazing ;-)
