Overview
About Me
I'm a PhD student in computer science with an appetite for diverse cultures. I'm always in to try local foods, local drinks, local languages.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
In order to say to local people that what's new, (insert a city name)? I'm new.
Interests
I like languages but also I'm pretty bad to learn a new one therefore my linguistic interest is on more theoretical and hobby level. Mm, let's say, like morphology and etymology. Obviously I'm interested in technological stuff. Reading/watching something about that artificial intelligence will dominate the world is always interesting. This latter is also the reason why I'm interested in cognitive psychology pages in Wikipedia. And I play and watch football and basketball while I have enforced to learn how to ski and hike after I arrived in Grenoble. And baked Camembert is wonderful with a pinch of garlic and olive oil.

Music, Movies, and Books
Historical, sci-fi, crime and fantasy genres in general. Further from my current reality the better it is. Oh it looks like a strong statement, i did not mean that! Anyway, in short, my ratings agree with public opinions except these genres , which I usually give higher points. Naming a few: Evita (the movie , the musical), Black Book (of Pamuk), Time Regulation Institute (of Tanpinar), Samarkand (of Maalouf), Alchemist (of Coelho), Paul Street Boys (of Molnar), A Tale of Two Cities, The Hobbit et cetera.
The law of diminishing returns does not work on the albums Surrealistic Pillow, Unknown Pleasures and Gran Turismo by any means for me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I had managed to evade a big earthquake, a long-named volcano and a cutish hurricane by slight margins. If this doesn't count, I had walked on a not-so-much-frozen lake.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can exchange Turkish. It's easy. No gender, it's logical, just a few exceptions, straightforward pronunciation of what you've written (I'm looking to you, French) and has a special gossip tense for those interested.
