About Me

Hi all! My name is Doğa (it is pronounced exactly as DOA). I currently live in Malaga, Spain. Here, I work as a volunteer for children and people with disabilities. Whenever I have free time I try to travel and explore Spain and other countries around. I used live in Antalya, Turkiye before coming to Spain. During university, I studied in Heidelberg, Germany for one semester and I visited around 10 countries in Europe so far. I love meeting people from different countries and cultures. Unfortunately, I cannot host people because I share the house with 4 other volunteers and our association doesn’t let us host people. But of course, I am available for hangouts!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because; I am volunteering in Spain and during this time, I want to see the cities that I have always dreamed of seeing, especially in Spain, get to know cultures and make friends with the people living here. And of course, to host people I meet here in Antalya, when I go back :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have worked as a volunteer English teacher for socio-economically disadvantaged children in my country before, now I'm volunteering for disabled people and children in Spain. For me, volunteering is fulfilling because it allows you to directly impact lives, build meaningful relationships, and experience personal growth. It creates a deeply rewarding experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

Since it is my profession, I’d be happy to help you improve your English skills (or Turkish if you’re interested). Also I’d love to talk about experiences from our previous travels and our own cultures.

Countries I’ve Visited
